How can YCAL help you make informed career decisions?
- Through your participation in the Career Exploration Programs you can learn more about specific career fields. Career Exploration programs consist of 30+ different programs intended to create opportunities for Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors to attend and explore a career path that may interest them. Hosted by a business partner that operates within the particular career, these programs are categorized as part of the Career Exploration Series (meeting after-school, multiple times throughout the school year) or the Career Exploration Day Programs which are one-day programs that typically meet during the school day.
**For 2020-21 school year all Career Exploration Programs will be virtual.
- Participate in YCAL’s Pre-Apprenticeship Programs-The Pre-Apprenticeship programs offer students the opportunity of a structured series of engagement programs that will help them in exploring career opportunities, build skills, and experience what an Apprenticeship Program would entail as they make their future career decisions.
